Role Description The Cost Accountant will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing production costs, preparing cost reports, and supporting pricing decisions to ensure financial efficiency and accuracy. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining cost records, preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling cost accounts,



and assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial statements. The role involves collaborating with operations and finance teams to track material, labor, and overhead costs, identify variances, and recommend cost control measures. The Cost Accountant will also support budgeting, forecasting, and internal audits related to cost and inventory. This is a full time, on-site role based in Aluva.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Cost Accounting and Finance, with the ability to analyze manufacturing and operational cost structures.
Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and supporting management with financial insights.
Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger processes, ensuring accurate and timely postings.
Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting cost data, identifying variances, and proposing corrective actions.
