About Business line/Function: The Real Asset team will focus on Securitized & Structured Assets (SSA) Portfolio Management Support; Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) - Portfolio Data Analytics; Corporate Credit (CC) - Leverage Loan Fund Reporting; Credit (CC) – Leverage Loan Database Management; specifically in support of Structured Finance functions.
Position Purpose: The role provides operational support for Alternative Credit Insurance and Corporate Credit, focusing on monthly fund reporting and GRM/Markit compliance through multi-source data collation and quality assurance. Additionally, they manage the MAIA database by coordinating with vendor teams to ensure the accurate creation and maintenance of instruments and issuers.
Responsibilities
Fund Reporting: Manage end-to-end production of monthly CRDB reports for active funds.
Data Collation: Aggregate complex data from BNY Mellon, Corporate Credit IT, Bloomberg, and the MAIA tool
Reference Data Management:
Maintain and update static reference files to ensure report accuracy
Compliance & Uploads: Produce consolidated monthly files for all funds and upload them to Markit to meet GRM requirements
Quality Assurance: Perform thorough quality checks on all final output files to ensure data integrity and compliance
Instrument Lifecycle Management: Coordinate the creation of recent loan instruments in MAIA via the DALI and State Street teams
Data Validation: Verify instrument details against Investment Notes and update critical characteristics such as Covenant Type and Recovery Rate
Issuer Maintenance: Identify missing issuers in MAIA and facilitate their creation using Bloomberg data
Database Oversight: Conduct D+1 verification to ensure all instruments and issuers are correctly reflected in the system
Ad-hoc Support: Deliver additional regular reports and operational support for the Corporate Credit team
