We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and manage the complete Indian accounting function. This role requires solid expertise in accounting operations, GST and TDS compliance, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closures, and team management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting accuracy, strengthening financial controls, improving processes, and ensuring timely and compliant financial operations. You will also work closely with auditors, tax consultants, management, and internal stakeholders to support sound financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the complete Indian Accounting function and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
Supervise, train, mentor, and support accountants and senior accounting professionals.
Review bookkeeping activities, accounting entries, ledgers,



and financial records for accuracy and completeness.
Oversee bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
Manage GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, documentation, and related matters.
Oversee TDS calculations, payments, return filing, and reconciliations.
Review monthly and annual financial statements and support the finalization of accounts.
Manage multi-currency accounting and inter-company transactions.
Prepare and review MIS reports, management reports, financial analysis, and accounting insights.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external financial professionals.
Establish and strengthen accounting controls, SOPs, review processes, and compliance procedures.
Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing act
