About the Role
Estier is looking for a hands-on Legal Executive / Senior Legal Executive to independently manage the company's legal, contractual, IP and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate should have solid drafting and negotiation skills and be comfortable working directly with management and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate NDAs, MoUs, MSAs, service agreements, vendor/supplier agreements, consultancy agreements, employment contracts, partnership/collaboration agreements, licensing agreements, lease agreements, purchase agreements and other commercial contracts.
Manage the complete contract lifecycle including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewals, amendments and termination.
Handle Intellectual Property matters, including trademark searches, applications, registrations, renewals, objections, oppositions, licensing and IP protection.
Draft and respond to legal notices, demand/recovery notices,
termination notices, settlement communications and cease-and-desist notices.
Provide legal advice and conduct legal research, risk assessment and due diligence for business transactions, partnerships, vendors and investments.
Support corporate governance and statutory compliance, including corporate documentation, resolutions, filings and regulatory requirements.
Draft and maintain key internal policies including Data Protection, Confidentiality, POSH, Anti-Bribery, Whistleblower and Code of Conduct.
Coordinate litigation and dispute matters with external advocates, law firms and regulatory authorities.
Maintain organised trackers for contracts, IP/trademarks, litigation, compliance and legal documentation.
Proactively identify legal and contractual risks and advise management on practical mitigation strategies.
