We already have order in hand to deliver for this financial year in the tune of INR 120 CR.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Procurement Professional to support the Procurement Manager in managing end-to-end procurement activities for manufacturing and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
Execute procurement activities based on approved Purchase Requisitions, BOMs and production requirements.
Source raw materials, bought-out components, fabricated parts and consumables.
Float RFQs/RFPs and obtain competitive quotations from approved and prospective suppliers.
Prepare techno-commercial comparison statements and recommend suitable suppliers.
Convert approved requirements into Purchase Orders and ensure timely order placement.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered as per committed schedules.
Vendor Development & Management
Identify and develop new suppliers for critical components and manufacturing requirements.
Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, capacity and technical capability.
Conduct vendor visits and support supplier audits/assessments where required.
Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
