Company Description SBI Payment Services Pvt. Ltd. is a joint venture between State Bank of India and Hitachi Payment Services Pvt. Ltd., focused on supporting SBI’s Merchant Acquiring Business (MAB). The company provides services such as merchant sourcing, relationship management, and complaint support for the largest commercial bank in India. It enables merchants across the country to accept cashless payments through card and app-based solutions. SBI Payment Services supports a range of digital payment touch points, including PoS terminals (Swipe & Pay/Tap & Pay), Bharat QR (Scan & Pay), and BHIM-Aadhaar-SBI (Touch & Pay), helping merchants offer secure and convenient payment options to customers.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Sales Executive role based in Srinagar. The Field Sales Executive will identify and onboard new merchants for SBI’s digital payment solutions, including PoS terminals, QR-based payments, and app-based acceptance products. The role involves visiting merchants, explaining product benefits, demonstrating usage,



and completing documentation and compliance requirements. The executive will maintain ongoing relationships with merchants, address basic service or support issues, and coordinate with internal teams for resolutions. Daily activities include achieving sales targets, tracking market trends, providing feedback on competitor offerings, and promoting cashless payment adoption in the assigned territory.
Qualifications

Strong sales and business development skills, including merchant acquisition, negotiation, and target-driven field selling experience.
Knowledge of digital payment products and processes, such as PoS terminals, QR-based payments, and app-based solutions, with basic understanding of banking or financial services.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term merchant relationships and provide transparent product demonstrations.
