Peko Technologies Private Limited is growing its Engineering team in Srinagar and is looking for an experienced QA professional to help strengthen quality and testing practices as the platform scales.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with solid hands-on test automation experience to take ownership of quality across our product development lifecycle.
This role goes beyond executing test cases — you will help define test strategy, build and maintain automation frameworks, and drive release quality in close collaboration with engineering and product teams.




We're looking for someone who can operate independently, make sound quality decisions, and raise the technical bar for testing practices within the team.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks for web and API testing.
Own the test strategy and test planning for assigned features and releases, including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
Build and execute automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium, integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Design and execute API test suites covering REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON/XML payloads.
Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and support database-level testing.
Analyze test results, triage defects, and drive root-cause analysis in collaboration with development teams.
Define and track test coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness criteria.
