Experience: 3–5 years | Medical Devices / Healthcare Technology / Engineering

Aerobiotix are looking for a hands-on R&D; leader to drive the development, optimisation and localisation of our advanced air and surface disinfection systems for healthcare and other critical environments.

The role requires multidisciplinary expertise across electronics, mechanical engineering, sensors, controls and software/computing, with a strong focus on system integration and product development.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead product development from concept and prototyping through testing, validation and commercialisation.
Integrate mechanical, electronic, sensor, control and software components into reliable systems.
Troubleshoot technical issues and drive product performance, reliability and cost optimisation.
Work closely with manufacturing partners, suppliers and external technology partners.
Develop product specifications, prototypes,



testing protocols and technical documentation.
Support regulatory, quality and certification requirements.
Identify opportunities for new products and product enhancements.
Work closely with the commercial and manufacturing teams to translate market requirements into product improvements.

Ideal Candidate:
An engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in medical devices, healthcare equipment, electronics, automation, robotics, HVAC/air-treatment systems or similar multidisciplinary products. Experience in taking hardware products from prototype to commercialisation will be highly valued.
The ideal candidate should be technically solid, entrepreneurial and execution-oriented, capable of personally solving problems rather than only managing an R&D; team.
