Role Description This is a full-time, in office Optical Fitter role based at Dr.



Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital in Delhi, India. The Optical Fitter will interpret ophthalmic prescriptions, advise patients on suitable frames and lenses, and ensure accurate fitting, adjustment, and alignment of spectacles and other optical devices. Responsibilities include taking precise facial and ocular measurements, verifying lens specifications, and performing quality checks on finished eyewear before delivery to patients. The role involves providing clear guidance on lens care and frame maintenance, supporting clinic flow by coordinating with ophthalmologists and optometrists, and maintaining organized inventory of frames, lenses, and optical accessories. The Optical Fitter is expected to uphold patient-centered service standards, follow hospital protocols, and contribute to SCEH’s mission of accessible, high-quality eye care.
