QA Engineer — Manual Testing (Salesforce)
Location: Bengaluru / hybrid.
Experience: 5 years in QA
Working hours: Shift must overlap US Eastern business hours approximately 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST
Engagement: Contract-to-hire (initial 6 months contract, converting to a full-time role on successful completion).

We build and support enterprise platforms for clients in the US market. This role sits with our India delivery team and supports a US-based enterprise SaaS client.

About the role: We're hiring a QA Engineer to take hands-on ownership of testing for a client's Salesforce platform during an upcoming release programe. You'll take user stories through to verified, release-ready functionality writing and executing test cases in X-ray, validating Salesforce configuration and integrations, and catching defects before they reach users.
This is a delivery role with a short ramp.



We need someone who can pick up an existing test estate in X-ray and start contributing inside the first sprint.

What you'll do:
Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios, edge cases, and gaps in requirements.
Design, write, and maintain manual test cases and test suites in X-ray, linked to Jira stories for full traceability.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing across Salesforce sandboxes and production.
Validate Salesforce configuration and customization objects, fields, page layouts, flows, validation rules, permission sets, profiles, and sharing rules.
Test integrations between Salesforce and connected systems, checking data flows, field mappings, and error handling.
Log transparent, reproducible defects with appropriate severity and priority; drive them to closure and verify fixes.
Maintain and grow the regression suite so it stays relevant release over release.
Support UAT with business stakehold
