We are looking for a skilled Salesforce professional with strong Admin and Apex Development capabilities, along with hands-on experience in Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) / OmniStudio. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize our Salesforce org, design scalable solutions using both declarative tools and code, implement OmniStudio components, and support complex, integrated, and high-volume business processes.

Key Responsibilities
1. User & Security Management

- Manage Salesforce users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and licenses.

- Configure and maintain OWD, role hierarchy, sharing rules, field-level security, and permission sets.

- Ensure alignment with security and compliance best practices across all Salesforce and OmniStudio components.

2. Data Management

- Import, export, and maintain data using Data Loader and other data tools.

- Perform data cleansing, deduplication, and validation to maintain high-quality data.

- Handle large data volumes with careful consideration of governor limits and performance

3. Core Salesforce Configuration

- Create and manag standard & custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules.

- Configure Lightning pages, apps, and record pages to support diverse business processes.

- Align configurations with industry data models where Salesforce Industries/Vlocity is used.

4. Reporting & Dashboards

- Build and maintain reports and dashboards for business users.

- Translate business needs into meaningful KPIs, summaries, and visualizations.

- Optimize reporting assets for performance and usability.

5. Automation & Process Optimization

- Configure automation using Flows, Workflow Rules, and Process Builder (with a focus on Flow-first design).

- Streamline and standardize business processes using declarative tools.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing automations for reliability and performance.

6. OmniStudio / Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and maintain OmniStudio / Vlocity components, including:

- OmniScripts for guided user interactions and complex business processes.

- FlexCards for contextual UI and data visualization in Lightning.

- DataRaptors (Extract, Transform, Load) for data transformation and integration.

- Integration Procedures for orchestrating complex, multi-step backend integrations.

- Work with Vlocity/Salesforce Industries Data Model, including industry-specific objects and relationships.

- Implement best practices for performance in OmniStudio (e.g., optimization of Integration Procedures, DataRaptor caching, and bulkification).





- Configure Vlocity/OmniStudio product models, rules, and decomposition (if applicable to CPQ or industry context).

- Collaborate with functional and business teams to design guided flows and industry-specific solutions using OmniStudio.

- Troubleshoot and optimize existing OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures to improve user experience and system performance.

- Ensure OmniStudio configurations align withoverall Salesforce architecture, security, and data strategy.

7. Apex Development & Customization

- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

- Implement and maintain:

- Apex Classes and utility frameworks

- Apex Triggers to support complex business logic and data integrity

- Batch Apex and Schedulers for large-scale data processing

- Create and maintain Test Classes to ensure high code coverage and adherence to best practices.

- Utilize SOQL and SOSL for efficient data retrieval and manipulation, with strong focus on governor limits.

- Apply Salesforce and Vlocity/OmniStudio best practices and design patterns to deliver clean, reusable solutions.

8. Tools & Technical Utilities

- Use Salesforce tools such as:

- Salesforce Inspector

- Lightning Inspector

- Developer Console

- Data Loader and Workbench

- Perform REST / SOAP API testing via tools like Postman.

- Use OmniStudio-specific debugging and design tools (e.g., OmniStudio Console, Preview & Debug tools).

9. Integrations & Architecture

- Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and OmniStudio Integration Procedures/DataRaptors where applicable.

- Contribute to the overall solution architecture, ensuring:

- Scalable and high-volume solutions

- Optimal data modeling

- Robust security architecture

- Define and maintain integration patterns, error handling mechanisms, and logging.

10. Release Management & Deployments

- Support Salesforce and OmniStudio configuration changes and deployments using Deployment Tools.

- Follow a structured development lifecycle (dev, test, UAT, production).

- Participate in code reviews and configuration reviews,



ensuring consistency and quality across teams.

11. Collaboration, Documentation & Support

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical and OmniStudio configurations.

- Participate in code and design reviews; provide constructive feedback to peers.

- Document technical specifications, OmniStudio designs (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures), processes, and workflows.

- Provide L2/L3 support and troubleshooting for existing Salesforce and OmniStudio/Vlocity solutions.

- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce and Salesforce Industries/OmniStudio releases, features, and best practices.

Must-Have Requirements

- Strong proficiency in Salesforce Apex:

- Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch, Schedulers, Test Classes, SOQL, SOSL.

- Hands-on experience with OmniStudio / Vlocity (Salesforce Industries):

- OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures.

- Solid understanding of the Salesforce and Salesforce Industries data model and architecture.

- Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits, security model (OWD, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, FLS).

- Extensive experience with integrations and APIs (REST/SOAP, third-party systems, Postman testing).

- Experience designing scalable, high-volume, performance-optimized Salesforce and OmniStudio solutions.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and configurations, following best practices and design patterns.

- Robust problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both strategically and hands-on.

- Good communication skills, capable of working closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

- Salesforce and Industries certifications such as:

- Salesforce Certified Administrator

- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I / II

- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

- Salesforce OmniStudio Consultant / Developer

- Salesforce Industries CPQ or relevant industry certs

- Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Exposure to Lightning Web Components (LWC) and their use alongside OmniStudio (e.g., embedding FlexCards/LWC).
