Role & responsibilities

Key Roles & Responsibilities Branch Management Manage and supervise approximately 10 branches within the assigned cluster covering a geographical radius of 15 km to 100 km. Ensure smooth branch operations and provide operational guidance to branch teams. Business Development Drive Gold Loan business growth by increasing current customer acquisition, portfolio growth, and branch profitability. Ensure achievement of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets. Loan Approvals Approve Gold Loan proposals within the delegated approval authority after verifying customer eligibility, KYC, pledged ornaments, valuation, documentation, and compliance requirements. Takeover Loan Approvals Review and approve Gold Loan takeover proposals after verifying competitor loan details, repayment proof, customer eligibility, and supporting documents. High-Value Loan Monitoring Conduct utilization checks for high-value loans as per company policy. Visit customers whenever required and ensure the loan amount is utilized for the declared purpose. Marketing & Business Development Plan and execute branch-level marketing campaigns, field activities, customer visits, referral programs, and local promotional initiatives to generate new business opportunities. Target Achievement Monitor daily business performance of each branch.



Conduct regular business reviews and implement action plans to achieve assigned business targets and improve productivity.People Management Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Branch Managers, Team Leaders, Loan Officers, and Operations Executives. Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training and development needs. Operational Excellence Ensure adherence to company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), RBI/NBFC guidelines, and internal control processes. Monitor audit observations and ensure timely closure. Customer Service Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring prompt resolution of customer complaints and delivering a superior customer experience. Risk & Compliance Monitor operational risks, prevent fraudulent activities, conduct surprise branch visits, and ensure strict compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification Graduate in any discipline. Postgraduate qualification is preferred. Experience Minimum 58 years of experience in Gold Loan, Banking, NBFC, or Financial Services, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
