- Position: Head (Manager / Sr. Scientist) - ADL (Global Markets)
- Department : ADL
- Location: Hyderabad, Telangana.

Job Profile :

- To lead analytical development, characterization, and troubleshooting activities for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, vaccine, agrochemical, and specialty chemical products.

Analytical Method Development & Validation:

- Design, develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for small molecules, biologics, peptides, proteins, polysaccharides, polymers, and new chemical entities (NCEs).
- Perform analytical investigations for product development, process support, stability studies, and regulatory submissions.
- Develop robust methods for identification, quantification, purity assessment, and impurity profiling.

Advanced Analytical Characterization





- Conduct structural characterization and confirmation using advanced analytical platforms including: LC-HRMS, LC-MS / MS, MALDI-TOF/TOF, HPLC / UPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, NMR (1D & 2D), ICP-MS.
- Perform molecular weight determination, peptide mass fingerprinting, PTM analysis, and biomolecule characterization.
- Lead extractable & leachable (E&L;) studies and complex impurity investigations.

Data Interpretation & Scientific Problem Solving

- Interpret complex analytical data and provide scientific conclusions for product characterization and process development.
- Conduct structure elucidation of unknown compounds, degradation products, and impurities using orthogonal analytical techniques.
- Troubleshoot analytical challenges and recommend scientifically sound solutions.

Regulatory & Documentation Support

- Prepare and review analytical protocols, reports, specifications, validation documents, standard test procedures, and SOPs.
- Generate high-quality technical reports supporting regulatory submissions and compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to data integrity, laboratory compliance, and documentation standards.

Laboratory Operations & Instrument Management

- Oversee calibration, qualification, maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytical instruments.
- Ensure laboratory equipment operates efficiently and remains compliant with quality requirements.
- Manage laboratory consumables, instrument utilization, and analytical workflows.

Leadership & Project Management





- Lead analytical teams and mentor junior scientists in method development, troubleshooting, and data interpretation.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory productivity and analytical capabilities.

Desired Profile:

- M.Sc / Ph.D (Analytical Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Organic Chemistry) with 10 to 20 years of experience in analytical chemistry experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, vaccine, agrochemical, CRO, or related industries.
- Proven experience supporting product development and regulatory submissions.
- Expertise in advanced analytical techniques, method development, structural elucidation, impurity profiling, and regulatory documentation while providing technical leadership to cross-functional teams.
- Extensive expertise in advanced analytical techniques, method development, structural elucidation, impurity profiling, and regulatory documentation while providing technical leadership to cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Method Development & Validation, Structural Elucidation, Impurity Characterization, Quantitative Analysis, Peptide & Protein Characterization, Polysaccharide Analysis, Extractable & Leachable Studies, Regulatory Documentation.
- Strong hands-on experience with: LC-HRMS / LC-MS/MS, MALDI-TOF-MS, HPLC / UPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, NMR (1D and 2D techniques including COSY, HSQC, HMBC), ICP-MS, UV-Visible Spectroscopy
