Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager Client Accounting Services (CAS) with strong expertise in US Accounting, R2R, GL Accounting, bookkeeping, month-end close, and financial reporting.

The role will involve independently managing accounting activities for multiple US clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while leading and mentoring a team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical accounting knowledge, client-handling skills, and experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end US Accounting, with primary focus on R2R and GL Accounting.
- Independently manage bookkeeping, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and MIS activities.
- Review Balance Sheet reconciliations, financial reports, workpapers, MIS, and month-end activities.
- Perform financial analysis and identify issues, discrepancies, and potential red flags.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables with minimal technical corrections from clients.
- Understand client-specific accounting workflows, processes, and requirements.
- Lead, mentor, train, and develop a team of 3–4 members.
- Handle complex accounting issues and provide hands-on technical guidance to team members.
- Review workpapers and ensure proper documentation and compliance with quality standards.
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting team productivity and service delivery.
- Stay updated on accounting standards, technical developments, regulations,



and emerging technologies.
- Support team training and knowledge development initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8–12 years of overall experience in US Accounting.
- Strong experience in R2R, GL Accounting, bookkeeping, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with US-based clients or CPA firms preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online (QBO), QuickBooks Desktop (QBD), Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Exposure to FloQast, Engagement, AdvanceFlow, and other reconciliation/accounting tools is preferred.
- Experience managing a team of 3–4 members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently handle complex accounting issues.
- Strong communication and client-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet strict deadlines.
- Good understanding of accounting regulations and compliance requirements.

Educational Qualifications

- B.Com / MBA with CA Inter and relevant US Accounting experience, OR
- CA/CMA Qualified with relevant US Accounting experience.
- Candidates with 3 years of completed articleship and solid US Accounting experience may also be considered.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US Accounting practices.
- Experience in Client Accounting Services / Accounting Outsourcing / CPA Firm environments.
- Proven experience in team handling, coaching, and performance management.
- Strong ownership and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Process-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to provide actionable insights from financial data.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
