Role Summary

AiFA Labs is looking for a Principal / Senior SAP BTP Architect with 10+ years of enterprise IT experience and robust expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), integration architecture, and cloud-native extensibility.

This role focuses on driving scalable, clean-core aligned SAP architectures, enabling digital transformation through API-led integrations, side-by-side extensions, and intelligent automation across SAP and non-SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of hands-on expertise, architectural leadership, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

BTP Architecture & Solution Design

- Lead end-to-end architecture for SAP BTP-centric transformation programs at AiFA Labs.
- Define scalable, secure, and future-ready architectures aligned with SAP Clean Core principles.
- Own solution design from requirement gathering through deployment and hypercare.
- Drive API-first, event-driven, and microservices-based architecture patterns.

SAP BTP & Integration Leadership

- Architect and implement solutions on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry / Neo).
- Design and govern integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, and MuleSoft.
- Enable seamless integration across SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Commerce) and non-SAP ecosystems (JDE, SaaS, third-party platforms).
- Establish best practices for reusable APIs, integration governance, and monitoring.

Extensions, Automation & Experience

- Design and build side-by-side extensions using SAP CAPM and Extension Suite.
- Lead automation initiatives using SAP Build Process Automation, Workflow, and business rules.




- Oversee experience layer solutions using SAP UI5, Fiori, and Work Zone.

Security, Governance & Leadership

- Define secure integration frameworks leveraging IAS, Azure AD, SCIM, and LDAP.
- Lead client workshops, architecture reviews, and POCs.
- Mentor development teams and drive adherence to AiFA Labs architecture standards and delivery excellence.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, clients, and internal stakeholders to align business and technology strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of IT experience with 6+ years in Solution / Integration Architecture.
- Strong expertise in:
- SAP BTP (Integration Suite, API Management, Extension Suite)
- SAP CAPM and cloud-native development
- API-led integration and microservices architecture
- MuleSoft or other iPaaS platforms
- SAP Build Process Automation / Workflow
- SAP UI5, Fiori, Work Zone

- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry), Azure, and container platforms (OpenShift preferred).
- Proven experience in large-scale enterprise transformations and global delivery models.
- Experience in enterprise-scale SAP migrations and global rollouts

- SAP Certified - SAP BTP Solution Architect

- SAP CAPM
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
