About the Role
Crafted Packs LLP is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Packaging Designer to join our growing design team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the packaging industry and a robust understanding of structural and graphic packaging design, print production, and material specifications. This role requires someone who can translate brand and product requirements into functional, visually appealing, and production-ready packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop packaging concepts (structural and graphic) for various product categories, from ideation to final production-ready artwork.
- Create dielines, technical drawings, and mock-ups for cartons, boxes, labels, pouches, and other packaging formats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams sales, production, and clients to understand packaging requirements and briefs.
- Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines, industry standards, and printing/production feasibility.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, and printing techniques (offset, flexo, digital, etc.) in coordination with the production team.
- Prepare print-ready files with correct color separations, bleed, and technical specifications.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on packaging trends, sustainable materials, and competitor designs.
- Coordinate with vendors and printing partners to ensure design accuracy during sampling and production runs.




- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any design or print-related issues during production.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 27 years of relevant experience in packaging design, preferably within the packaging, FMCG, or printing industry.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and CorelDRAW.
- Working knowledge of 3D packaging design/mock-up tools (e.g., ArtiosCAD, Esko, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of print production processes, dielines, and packaging materials (corrugated, carton board, flexible packaging, etc.).
- Good eye for typography, color theory, and visual composition.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a hybrid team setup.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to explain design concepts to internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working with FMCG, food & beverage, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical packaging.
- Familiarity with sustainable/eco-friendly packaging design practices.
- Basic understanding of packaging regulations and compliance standards.

Location & Work Mode
This position is based out of Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad, and will follow a hybrid work model, combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. Candidates should be open to working from either location as per business needs.

Compensation
CTC of up to 10 LPA, commensurate with experience, skills, and interview performance.
