Designation: Assistant/ Deputy Manager-Quality

Role & responsibilities:

- Monitoring QA operations w.r.t resource requirement like manpower, new equipment etc.
- Ensuring optimum utilization for achievement of allocated Quality targets from individuals.
- Assist HOD in implementing the QA policies and procedures.
- Implementation of Quality function throughout manufacturing process in assembly in the form of in-process and final quality inspection.
- Analysis and ensure timely closure of customer complaints w.r.t. quality.
- Improving production efficiency and managing daily rework, rejection etc. by implementing continuous improvement projects through QIT, Kaizen, and Poka-yoke etc.
- Closely interfaces with all functions / concern department to accomplish the various tasks of a project and drive problem solving & recommending CAPA.
- Ensure work workplace like temperature, humidity, and dust particle count, ESD etc. to meet the standard requirement.
- Ensuring adherence to QMS procedure as per standards through periodic process and product audits.
- Analysis and audit (internal & external) of process / product & ensure timely closure of non-compliance through CA.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and optimum utilization of resources.




- Implementation of 6S in Quality Assurance department (Assembly process) by ensuring inspection and compliance to 6S requirements.
- Ensure health & safety at workplace in the context of man, machine, method & material.
- Implementation and analysis of the performance parameters (Departmental KPIs) using analytical & statistical tools.
- Assist HOD for skills development & training effectiveness through various training & development program and ensure compliance to best practices.

Preparation and analysis of relevant data and produce statistical reports to HOD.

Preferred candidate profile:

Monitoring all QA activities in the assigned unit as per defined standards and set parameters in compliance with all applicable quality.

Ensure continuous process improvement plan by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in working practices and processes etc. 9 to 14 Years of proven exp. in Quality Assurance Process in Assembly Unit of Electronic Mfg. Industry.
