As a key member of our enterprise data governance initiative, you will design, implement, and enhance metadata management, cataloging, and lineage solutions that improve data discoverability, transparency, compliance, standardization, and trust across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Catalog & Metadata Management
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-wide Collibra Data Catalog solutions.
- Manage metadata onboarding, asset registration, and metadata lifecycle processes.
- Develop and maintain Business Glossaries, Data Dictionaries, Data Domains, and Data Catalog structures.
- Define and implement metadata governance standards, processes, and best practices.
2. Data Lineage
- Build, maintain, and enhance end-to-end technical and business data lineage across enterprise data platforms.
- Configure Collibra Lineage integrations to enable source-to-target traceability and impact analysis.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and BI teams to onboard lineage from databases, ETL tools, analytics platforms, and cloud ecosystems.
3. Collibra Platform Development
- Configure and customize the Collibra Operating Model and Metamodel.
- Create and manage communities, domains, asset types, relationships, attributes, and workflows.
- Develop automation and integrations using Collibra APIs, workflows, and REST services.
- Support Collibra platform administration, optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous enhancements.
4. Reference Data & Data Governance
- Implement and manage Collibra Reference Data Management (RDM) solutions.
- Establish governance processes for reference data stewardship, approvals, versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Partner with business and data governance stakeholders to improve data quality, standardization, and governance adoption.
5. Databricks Unity Catalog
- Support governance, metadata management, and lineage integration for Databricks Unity Catalog.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to govern data assets across the Databricks Lakehouse environment.
- Enable metadata synchronization, data classification, and governance controls between Collibra and Databricks platforms.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Architects, Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Users.
- Translate business requirements into scalable metadata and data governance solutions.
- Provide best-practice guidance on cataloging, lineage, governance, metadata management, and stewardship initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Analytics.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.

Robust hands-on experience with:

Experience working in highly regulated environments such as BFSI, Insurance, or Healthcare is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Collibra Certified Professional certification preferred.
- Experience with the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
- Exposure to Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, Informatica, or similar enterprise data platforms.
- Experience with Python or scripting technologies for automation.
- Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality concepts.
- Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
