We are currently hiring for the position of Finance Head for one of the Synokem Group companies, Nitin Lifesciences Limited, at its manufacturing unit located in Paonta Sahib.
We are specifically looking for candidates with mandatory experience in the Manufacturing workplace, preferably in Pharma / Chemicals / Foods, with multilevel manufacturing process/activity experience.
Candidate must have handled financial statement preparation with reporting exposure. Should have led Finance teams in a matrix environment.
Hands-on experience in SAP with good functional knowledge.
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Lead the Monthly Closing in SAP and the Monthly Financial review processes.
2. Oversee and work with the Finance team responsible for Vendor Payments, AR / AP / GL / Banking / Treasury / Fixed Assets (FA) Management End-to-End (E2E) processes. Should have strong working experience in these processes.
3. Financial Reporting's Consolidation Process, handle statutory audit compliances.
- Preparation of Ind AS Financial statements covering Monthly PCL, BS, CF, schedules and Financial reporting to Management.
- Handling and Closing of end to end Statutory Audits process, observations and remarks if any, from Auditors.
- Conversant with Internal Controls over Financial reporting and should be able to devise processes and systems towards ICFR implementation & maintenance.
4. Handling Auditors for both Secretarial and Internal audits.
5. Working knowledge of the pricing process in the pharmaceutical industry with NPPA, DPCO regulatory frameworks and various submissions.
6. Cross-functional team working / projects exposure:
- Should have worked in a cross-functional team at the plant with the ability to work seamlessly with different HODs, handle conflicts/pressure while upholding Finance processes and discipline.
- Should have worked on cross-functional projects involving business topics like Productivity, Capacity utilisation, Cost optimisation,
Sales & BD team performance mgmt.
7. Company Records and Documents:
- Maintain and update statutory books and records, including the register of members and directors.
- Ensure that all required filings with regulatory authorities are completed accurately and on time.
8. Corporate Governance:
- Assist in the development and implementation of corporate governance policies.
9. Legal Compliance's Risk Management:
- Ensure that the company operates within the legal framework and complies with relevant laws and regulations, and certify the External Laws Compliance tracking tool.
- Keep abreast of changes in legislation and advise on the implications for the company.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Advise on the identification and management of risk.
10. Liaison with External Parties:
- Act as a point of contact between the company and external regulatory bodies, legal advisors, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Preferred candidate profile
- Total Experience: 7 to 8 years
- Relevant / Industry Experience: 4 to 5 years
- Total Industry Experience: 5 to 7 years
- Industry/Company Preference: Manufacturing / Pharmaceuticals
- Qualification: CA is mandatory, CS will be advantageous
