Qualification – DM / DNB (Cardiology) from an NMC recognized institution of India

Experience Required – Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in Cardiology with requisite teaching experience as per NMC norms in a recognized medical college/hospital

Job Responsibilities –

To perform all the duties of a Professor in Cardiology at Era’s Lucknow Medical College & Hospital, including:
Leading and managing the Department of Cardiology (academic, clinical, and administrative functions)
Delivering advanced teaching and training to undergraduate and postgraduate students as per NMC guidelines
Supervising and performing complex cardiac procedures (e.g., angiography, angioplasty, cardiac interventions, non-invasive cardiology procedures)
Guiding and mentoring junior faculty, residents, and students in clinical and academic activities
Overseeing patient care services in OPD, IPD, ICU,



and emergency cardiac care
Ensuring implementation of clinical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety measures
Leading research initiatives, publications, and clinical trials in cardiology
Participating in curriculum development, academic planning, and institutional committees
Organizing and contributing to CMEs, conferences, and academic programs
Ensuring compliance with NMC, NABH, and other regulatory/accreditation requirements
Promoting interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments for comprehensive patient care
Maintaining high standards of documentation, reporting, and departmental audits.
