QA Automation Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a 4 to 6 years of experienced and highly skilled Automation QA Engineer, primary for Cypress, to join our agile engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of automation frameworks, test automation strategies, and will have a proven track record of implementing robust automation solutions. This role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing and continuous integration practices.
Responsibilities
Proven experience with automation tool and framework such as Cypress, Cucumber, Selenium
Design, develop, and implement robust test automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and strategies
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and quick feedback loops
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and framework
Analyze test results, report defects,
and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
Mentor and provide guidance to junior automation engineers
Provide regular reports on test automation progress and results to stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Robust communication and collaboration skills
Valuable to have
Additional knowledge of automation tools and framework such as Selenium, TestNG or Cucumber
Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
Knowledge of performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
Basic understanding of security testing principles and tools
Knowledge of machine learning models and how they can be integrated into test automation
