- Design and develop piping system layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D.

- Prepare detailed 3D models, isometric drawings, and 2D drawings for construction and installation.

- Review project requirements, specifications, and design documents to ensure the proper design and layout of piping systems.

- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure the piping design meets project objectives.

- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within the 3D models using Plant 3D.

- Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) and maintain accurate records of materials and quantities.

- Apply knowledge of piping codes and standards such as ASME, ANSI, and API for design validation.

- Ensure the design complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

- Assist in the preparation of project schedules and progress reports.

- Conduct regular reviews and updates of designs based on project changes or feedback.

- Provide support to the fabrication and construction teams during installation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and related tools.

- Robust understanding of piping design principles, codes,



and standards.

- Experience in 3D modeling, piping layouts, and creating isometric drawings.

- Proficient in P&ID; (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) interpretation and design.

- Knowledge of clash detection and collision management within Plant 3D.

- Ability to create detailed BOMs, piping specifications, and design documents.

- Strong understanding of piping materials and equipment (valves, flanges, fittings, etc.).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Requirements

- Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Experience with other design software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) is a plus.

- Familiarity with other industry software such as Bentley AutoPlant or AVEVA is a bonus.

- Certification in Piping Design or related disciplines is desirable.
