Job Summary

We are seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead strategic, complex, and cross-functional programs that power the delivery of world-class sports experiences across our digital platforms. Based in Bengaluru, you will drive initiatives that span multiple teams and technical domains, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business goals.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone with deep technical program management expertise, strong stakeholder influence, and a passion for sports and technology.

Responsibilities

- Strategic Program Leadership: Drive large-scale programs with multiple dependencies across engineering, product, operations, and editorial teams. Align initiatives with organizational goals and deliver high-impact outcomes.
- Execution Excellence: Own all phases of project delivery-from concept to launch. Adapt plans quickly in response to changing requirements or issues, and ensure timely, high-quality execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define priorities, manage expectations, and coordinate deliverables across diverse teams.
- Problem Solving & Risk Management: Identify missing requirements, clarify ambiguous asks, and negotiate trade-offs. Resolve complex issues independently and modify plans across portfolios when needed.
- Process Optimization: Introduce scalable processes and eliminate inefficiencies. Lead post-event retrospectives and apply insights to improve future executions.
- Influence & Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor. Influence product direction, technical design, and operational improvements through data-driven insights.
- Communication:



Communicate clearly and concisely across all levels-from engineers to executives. Produce technical design documents, executive status reports, and retrospectives tailored to diverse audiences.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor Senior TPMs and junior team members. Provide input on team development and foster a culture of inclusion, growth, and excellence.
- Optional People Management: If applicable, manage a small team of TPMs, guiding their professional development and performance.

Requirements

- Experience: 10-14 years of program management experience in technology-focused roles, ideally in digital media, streaming, or live sports platforms.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development processes, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Suite. Background in engineering or technical architecture is a plus.
- Execution Skills: Proven ability to manage complex programs independently, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver results efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing cross-functional meetings and producing clear documentation.
- Collaboration & Influence: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence across teams and levels.
- Passion for Sports & Media: Enthusiasm for sports and a desire to deliver exceptional fan experiences through technology.
