Job Description - DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support an upcoming project involving workflow orchestration (Argo Workflows), Kubernetes-based platform operations, and enterprise-scale Azure landing zone architecture. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience across the full infrastructure stack - from networking and landing zones to GitOps and observability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and operate Argo Workflows on Kubernetes (AKS) for orchestrating batch/data pipelines and automation workflows
- Manage GitOps-based deployments using ArgoCD across multiple environments
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrated with JFrog Artifactory for artifact and image management
- Design and implement Azure networking architecture - VNets, subnets, private endpoints, NSGs, route tables, and landing zone patterns
- Set up and maintain observability stack - Prometheus and Grafana - for monitoring cluster health, workflow performance, and application metrics
- Operate and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including networking, RBAC, Workload Identity, and admission policies (Kyverno/Cilium)
- Collaborate with architecture and security teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with landing zone standards and compliance requirements
- Participate in infrastructure handovers, documentation, and knowledge transfer for recent and existing services

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure - compute, storage, networking, identity (Entra ID, Managed Identities, Workload Identity)
- Experience with Azure Landing Zone architecture and enterprise-scale design principles
- Production experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) - cluster operations, upgrades, networking, RBAC
- Orchestration GitOps
- Hands-on experience with Argo Workflows for pipeline/workflow orchestration
- Experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based continuous deployment
- Artifact CI/CD
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory for artifact and container image management




- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines - GitHub Actions or equivalent
- Infrastructure as Code - Terraform (required)
- Observability - Experience setting up and operating Prometheus and Grafana for metrics, dashboards, and alerting
- Familiarity with logging and tracing tools (e.g. Azure Monitor, Loki, or similar)
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking - VNets, subnets, VNet peering, hub-spoke topology
- Experience with Private Endpoints, Private DNS Zones, NSGs, route tables (UDRs)
- Familiarity with network policy enforcement (Cilium, Kyverno, or similar admission controllers)
- Security Identity - Experience with identity-based access patterns - OIDC federation, Managed Identities, Workload Identity
- Understanding of RBAC design across cloud and Kubernetes layers
- Familiarity with secrets management (Key Vault, CSI driver integration)

Nice to Have

- Experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog
- Experience with multi-subscription Azure environments and cross-subscription access patterns
- Familiarity with compliance/security scanning tools (e.g. Prisma Cloud)
- Prior experience with infrastructure migrations (VNet resizing, workspace recreation, etc.)

Soft Skills

- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across networking, identity, and application layers
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (architecture, security, platform, application teams)
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, evolving environments with incomplete documentation
- Clear written and verbal communication - comfortable presenting technical findings to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders

Experience Level

- 3-6 years of relevant DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure experience
- Prior experience with production Kubernetes environments required
- Prior experience with enterprise Azure landing zone environments strongly preferred
