We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Neuro Medicine Specialist (DM Neuro) with 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid clinical background in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of neurological disorders. This is an opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment alongside experts in internal medicine, critical care, rehabilitation, and neurosurgery to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Patient Management:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide spectrum of neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular diseases, CNS infections, and neurodegenerative conditions.
- Manage both in-patient and out-patient neurological care, including follow-up and long-term treatment planning.

- - Clinical Excellence:

- Maintain high clinical standards by implementing evidence-based practices in neuro medicine.
- Interpret neuroimaging (MRI/CT), EEG, EMG/NCS reports, and other diagnostic modalities relevant to neuro medicine.

- - Collaborative Care:

- Work in close coordination with ICU, emergency, radiology, neurosurgery,



and rehabilitation teams to provide holistic care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and clinical discussions for complex cases.

- - Patient Education & Counseling:

- Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses.
- Offer guidance on lifestyle changes, rehabilitation, and long-term management strategies.

- - Academic & Research Contribution:

- Contribute to academic discussions, CME sessions, journal clubs, and case presentations within the department.
- Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives aimed at advancing neuro medicine practice.

- Required Skills & Competencies:

- Medical degree with DM in Neurology/Neuro Medicine from a recognized institution.
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting post-DM.
- Strong diagnostic acumen and clinical judgment in neurological care.
- Proficient in neuroimaging interpretation and electrophysiological studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, caregivers, and the clinical team.
- Ability to handle emergencies such as acute stroke, status epilepticus, and neurocritical care cases.
- Familiarity with stroke protocols, neuro ICU management, and neurorehabilitation approaches is desirable.
