The Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the organization's cybersecurity controls to protect applications, servers, networks, cloud infrastructure, and data from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement security controls across the organization.
Secure servers, networks, cloud infrastructure, and endpoints.
Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAF, and endpoint protection.
Monitor security alerts and respond to security incidents.
Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
Conduct security hardening for Windows, Linux, databases, and cloud resources.
Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), MFA, and user permissions.




Ensure applications follow secure coding and security best practices.
Collaborate with development teams to resolve security issues.
Support penetration testing and validate security fixes.
Maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.
Investigate security events and perform root cause analysis.
Conduct security awareness sessions for employees.
Evaluate and implement recent security tools and technologies.
