Role To support the process improvement in metallurgical process industries. It focuses on developing control logic, data modelling, testing and implementing process control algorithms.
Key Responsibilities
Process control algorithm: Develop / Design process control logic / algorithm, simulate and optimize control logic utilizing MATLAB/Simulink or Python.
Analysis of plant utilizing data analytics tools tableau, Power BI, etc.
Basic understanding of signal processing and industrial application.
Deliver scientific or technical solutions to solve industrial problems.
Preparation of research proposals, technical reports.
Publication & presentation of research work and patent filing.
Educational Qualification
Master’s degree from the recognized university in the following discipline: Metallurgical / Chemical / Engineering with valuable academic & professional records.
Required Technical Skills
Control Theory: Solid grasp of basic process control theory and systems for process industry: model predictive control, DCS systems, PLC, functional block diagram, etc.
Data Analytics: Knowledge of data analytics tools such as tableau, power BI, SQL, RX Logix, etc. Experience in statistical modeling or ML to develop models for analyzing control strategies.
Programming: Solid coding capabilities in Python / Fortran / C and exposure to RX Logix, SQL, tableau, etc.
Strong fundamentals on thermodynamics and proficiency in MATLAB.
Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
