About the Role

The Manager – Industrial Relations & Human Resources will lead the HR and IR functions at the Jaquar manufacturing plant in Bhiwadi. This position is responsible for maintaining harmonious employee relations, ensuring compliance with labour laws, handling contractors, and promoting a cohesive and positive work culture within the plant. The role requires strong leadership in managing people, processes, and policies to align with organizational goals while ensuring smooth industrial relations and workforce management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Industrial Relations & Workforce Stability

- Maintain a positive IR climate with zero work disruptions
- Handle union/workmen interactions, grievance resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure adherence to standing orders and labour practices
- Support IR strategy and act as escalation point in absence of Plant HR Head

2. HR Operations & Governance

- Drive end-to-end HR operations at plant level with strong process control




- Ensure 100% statutory compliance and audit readiness
- Oversee contract labour governance, documentation, and vendor management
- Work closely with payroll and time office teams to ensure accuracy in attendance, wages, and compliance

3. Talent & Workforce Planning

- Execute manpower planning aligned with production and expansion needs
- Ensure timely hiring of shopfloor and staff roles with focus on quality
- Drive onboarding and workforce deployment effectiveness in collaboration with the corporate HR team as required.

4. Employee Engagement & Welfare

- Strengthen employee connect through structured engagement interventions
- Oversee welfare initiatives including canteen, and CSR
- Build a high-trust environment across workmen and staff

5. Performance & Capability Building

- Drive performance management processes for plant workforce
- Identify skill gaps and enable capability building interventions
- Support development of frontline leaders and supervisors

6. Administration, Safety & Security

- Partner with EHS to reinforce safety culture and compliance
- Oversee plant administration and security operations
- Ensure adherence to company policies and governance frameworks

Qualifications and Experience

- 8–12 years of experience in Plant HR / IR roles in manufacturing setup
- Strong exposure to labour laws, IR management, and statutory compliance
- Proven ability to manage shopfloor workforce and union environments
- Strong execution focus with ability to drive discipline and process adherence
