Overview
The Associate SaaS Operations Engineer is responsible for the successful day-to-day operation of Cotiviti's SaaS services. The role involves coordinating and communicating activity across SaaS operations — including infrastructure maintenance and upgrades, customer-facing incident and service request management, SLA tracking, and new customer onboarding and provisioning. You will also contribute to developing tools and processes that support customer communication across all aspects of their SaaS experience.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who can handle interruptions and shifting priorities, brings solid customer service skills, and has genuine enthusiasm for learning new technologies. You will lead from the front as an advocate for Cotiviti's SaaS customers — working through complex production issues alongside engineering, operations, and customer teams. The role is approximately 70% operational (customer service, technical troubleshooting, functional support) and 30% development and maintenance of tools and processes.
Responsibilities




Experience and background
1–3 years of experience in cloud operations, application support, SaaS operations, DevOps, or a related technical role; internship or academic project experience in cloud or infrastructure is accepted.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for cloud operations, SaaS platforms, and automation through work experience, personal projects, or academic coursework.
Cloud and infrastructure
Basic working knowledge of public cloud services and operations — AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch), Azure, or equivalent; hands-on experience or cloud coursework strongly preferred.
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar).
Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts and containerisation (Docker); awareness of ArgoCD or GitOps deployment patterns is a plus.
Operating systems and application knowledge
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating
