An Audit Associate supports the audit team in conducting financial audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. The role involves examining financial records, assessing internal controls, and assisting in preparing audit reports.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing financial, operational, and compliance audits
Examine financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards
Test internal controls and identify weaknesses or areas for improvement
Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and documentation review
Prepare working papers and maintain organized audit files
Assist in drafting audit reports and management letters
Verify assets and liabilities through physical inspections and confirmations
Communicate audit findings to senior auditors and management
Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and legal requirements
Support external audit engagements when required
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Positive written and verbal communication skills
Experience
0–2 years of experience in auditing or accounting (Fresh graduates may apply)

Office-based role with occasional travel for client site audits
May require extended working hours during peak audit periods
Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
