Legal Consultant / Junior Lawyer

About the Role

Diamond Developers is looking for a Legal Consultant / Junior Lawyer to support the companys real estate and property-related legal work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently from our Huskur office and have a strong interest in real estate documentation, property due diligence and title verification.

Key Responsibilities

- Compile, organize and maintain all legal documents relating to the companys properties and projects.
- Conduct and assist with property title searches and title verification.
- Review sale deeds, title deeds, RTCs, mutation records, encumbrance certificates, conversion orders, survey documents, approvals and other property records.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining property title reports and legal due-diligence files.
- Coordinate with advocates, government offices, sub-registrar offices and other legal professionals when required.
- Identify missing documents, discrepancies, gaps in title and potential legal issues.
- Maintain a systematic digital and physical legal document repository for each property/project.
- Assist with drafting and reviewing basic legal correspondence, agreements, notices and property-related documentation.
- Conduct searches and obtain relevant records from government portals and offices.
- Translate,



read and interpret Kannada legal and government documents.
- Support the management and external advocates with ongoing property-related legal matters.

Candidate Requirements

- LL.B / B.A. LL.B / equivalent legal qualification preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in real estate law, property documentation, title verification or legal due diligence.
- Strong ability to read and write Kannada is essential.
- Good working knowledge of English.
- Familiarity with Karnataka property records and documentation will be a solid advantage.
- Ability to independently research, organize and maintain large volumes of legal documentation.
- Good attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Comfortable working from the company’s Huskur office near Electronic City Phase 2.
- Candidates with experience working with property lawyers, developers, builders or real estate companies will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, dependable and willing to take ownership of the legal documentation process rather than someone limited to routine administrative work.

A junior lawyer who wants to build strong practical experience in Karnataka real estate law, property title due diligence and development documentation would be particularly suitable.
