We are looking for an 7+ years experienced SAP Ariba Upstream Consultant to support BAU operations, configuration, production support, contract management, and integrations across SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA settings.
The role will primarily focus on Contract Management, CIG & Integration Support, BAU Operations, and production issue resolution. The candidate should have solid knowledge of SAP Ariba Upstream processes and hands-on experience supporting enterprise procurement environments.
Key Responsibilities
Contract
Configure and manage the creation of Purchase Contracts from Contract Workspaces using Contract Document Types (CDTs), ensuring successful publication and availability within SAP Ariba Buying.
Support the end-to-end lifecycle of Purchase Contracts, including authoring, approvals, publication, amendments, renewals, contract release orders, and ongoing contract compliance.
Support Contract Workspace configuration and BAU activities.
Troubleshoot contract-related issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
Ensure contract processes align with business requirements and established governance.
Integrations and Data Quality
Valuable understanding of SAP integration technologies including IDocs, APIs, SOAP/REST services, XML/cXML messaging, and SAP Business Network.
Experience supporting integration monitoring tools and production support processes.
Monitor data quality across SAP Ariba and connected SAP systems.
Analyse integration and data-related issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
BAU Operations and Support
SAP Ariba CIG & Integration Support
Support SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) configuration and operational activities.
Monitor inbound and outbound integration messages between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA and CALM.
Analyse XML/cXML payloads, message mappings, interface logs, and transaction status.
