Job Purpose:

This role will be responsible for managing application development and delivery for critical business platforms in a fast-paced financial services workplace. The role requires solid technical leadership along with proven experience in project management, delivery governance, CI/CD implementation, and team handling.

We are seeking a highly experienced IT professional with solid expertise in Java Spring Boot, Oracle PL/SQL, Angular, and Cloud technologies (Oracle Cloud/AWS) to lead enterprise application development and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership
Lead architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications using:
Java / J2EE
Spring Boot & Microservices
Oracle PL/SQL
Angular
Drive cloud adoption and modernization initiatives using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance application architectures.
Define coding standards, security standards, and development best practices.




Conduct technical reviews and ensure application quality and performance optimization.

Project Management & Delivery
Manage end-to-end project development lifecycle including requirement analysis, estimation, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and support.
Drive project delivery with internal teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope, quality, and budget.
Track project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
Provide regular project status updates to senior management and business stakeholders.

Team Management
Lead and manage development teams comprising developers, technical leads, QA, and support engineers.
Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure productivity across teams.
Mentor team members and drive technical capability building.
Manage vendor coordination and offshore/onshore delivery teams where applicable.
