Description

Drive transportation excellence across the logistics network by establishing governance frameworks, performance benchmarking, process standardization and strategic transformation initiatives. The role acts as the Center of Excellence (CoE) for transportation, enabling cost optimization, service improvements and scalable logistics capabilities while ensuring execution support to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transportation Governance

Establish transportation governance frameworks across all SCCs.

Standardize transportation SOPs, review mechanisms and operational controls.

Drive governance of transport KPIs and performance management cadence.

2. Performance Benchmarking

Develop enterprise-wide logistics dashboards and benchmarking across: SCCs, Transporters, Vehicle types, Route types, Seasons

Identify performance gaps and drive best practice deployment.

3. Transporter Performance Excellence

Develop transporter scorecards and performance review framework.

Standardize transporter evaluation methodology.

Drive transporter capability improvement initiatives.

4. Strategic Logistics Projects





Lead enterprise logistics projects including:

Route optimization, Network redesign, Cross-SCC transportation synergies, Cross-brand transportation optimization, Current logistics technologies, Automation initiatives, Cost reduction programs

5. Business Readiness Planning

Lead transportation readiness for Big Days.

Drive proactive capacity planning.

Develop long-term transportation strategies.

6. Cost Optimization

Build logistics savings pipeline.

Govern execution of transportation optimization initiatives.

Track realization of savings.

7. Transportation Analytics

Publish transportation MIS.

Generate actionable business insights.

Drive data-backed decision-making.

8. Functional Excellence

Identify best practices across SCCs.

Drive standardization.

Facilitate cross-learning.

9. Cross Functional Collaboration

Partner with:

Logistics Operations, Supply Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, Technology, Regional SCC teams
