A Purchase Specialist or Procurement Specialist role within this strategic context bridges the gap between engineering requirements and operational execution at the Hosur facility. By taking ownership of component sourcing and vendor management, this position offloads administrative and supply-chain burdens from the core technical team.
Job Summary: The Purchasing Specialist will manage end-to-end procurement activities to support engineering development, bulk production, and factory assembly. This role requires a blend of technical purchasing expertise (specifically electrical and electronic components)



and solid administrative capabilities to handle vendor negotiations, release Purchase Orders (POs) via NetSuite, and coordinate with finance for seamless payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing
•Source and procure electronic, electrical, and mechanical components required for technical team R&D;, prototyping, and bulk production.
•Support factory assembly and production lines by ensuring timely availability of bills of materials (BOM) and components to prevent manufacturing downtime.
•Request, compile, and analyse competitive quotes from local and international vendors to optimize costs.
Vendor & Internal Stakeholder Management
•Act as the primary interface between engineering teams, factory operations, and external suppliers to clarify technical specifications and delivery timelines.
