Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Leads the evaluation testing and development of mechanical and Fluid control systems by designing and conducting research programs; applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
· Performs standard engineering assignments which are typically a significant portion of a larger project. Select sound techniques to solve design problems and make design recommendation under direction of supervisor.
· Ensures successful integration of mechanical design entities with electrical and consumable components. Contributes to troubleshooting and problem solving efforts related to mechanical aspects of the design and interfaces with other design constituents.
· Review direct reports quality of work were applicable
· Utilize engineering tools to solve straightforward problems (example FMEA, finite element analysis, Design of experiments)
· Contributes to development and documentation of medical products addressing regulato
