Role Description The Public Relations Volunteer internship is a remote role focused on supporting EcoServeDev’s external communications and public image. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting press releases, preparing media briefs, and assisting in the development of key messages and talking points. The volunteer will help manage media outreach,



monitor coverage, and maintain contact lists for journalists and partner organizations. Additional tasks may include supporting social media announcements, preparing content for newsletters, and coordinating information flow for events and campaigns. This internship role is designed to provide practical experience in public relations within the sustainable development sector.
Qualifications
Ability to create and format professional press releases and related PR materials (Press Releases, Public Relations).
Strong communication skills for crafting clear, impactful messages and engaging diverse stakeholders (Communication, Strategic Communications).
Experience or interest in building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and partners (Media Relations, Public Relations).
Interest in sustainable development, social impact, and non-profit communication.
Strong writing and editing skill
