Job Description: The Erection Drafter proficient in Tekla and steel detailing is responsible for producing accurate and comprehensive drawings, plans for steel structures. This role involves collaboration with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure exact and efficient assembly and installation of steel elements.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Tekla Structures software to create detailed 3D views, drawings, and plans for steel structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Work closely with engineering and design teams to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications, incorporating necessary changes and adjustments as required.
Conduct thorough reviews and checks of drawings to ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders including engineers, architects, and construction teams to address design issues, modifications,
and project progress.
Maintain accurate documentation of designs, revisions, and project-related communications for future reference and quality control.
Identify and resolve design discrepancies or issues during the detailing process, offering practical solutions while maintaining structural integrity and compliance.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Tekla Structures software for steel detailing and modelling.
Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles related to steel structures.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Attention to detail and accuracy in erection drafting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration.
