Job Summary

Role Definition: Supports manufacturing processes by performing many technical tasks while ensuring compliance with the prevailing safety and quality procedures and policies.

Responsibilities
Executing manufacturing tasks and processes according to defined SOPs and accurately documenting data and related batch records.
Identifying issues related to manufacturing processes and implementing process improvements.
Providing support to manufacturing processes with activities such as validation of processes and equipment, implementing manufacturing best practices, and reporting.
Training recent and junior employees on SOPs, safety procedures, policies and standards.

Competencies
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Level Basic Understanding: Explains the value of a disciplined approach to problem solving.



Describes problem reporting and escalation practices. Utilizes accepted procedures for problem analysis and resolution. Identifies key aspects of problem-solving techniques used in own area.
Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process. Level Basic Understanding: Describes functional areas in a manufacturing facility. Describes the roles and responsibilities of manufacturing areas and staff. Identifies major phases and activities associated with a manufacturing cycle. Obtains and interprets high-level manufacturing flow and documentation.
