Role & responsibilities

Role Objective:

To independently manage day-to-day accounting, payroll, statutory compliance coordination, audit support, vendor administration and finance records, while ensuring timely and accurate execution of routine finance activities and providing reliable backup to the CFO.
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally and maintain books of accounts.
Verify purchase invoices and supporting documents.
Perform routine bank, purchase and other reconciliations.
Maintain proper accounting records and document filing.
Payroll, Attendance & Leave
Maintain employee attendance and leave records and identify irregularities.
Calculate overtime, salary advances, incentives and payroll adjustments.
Prepare and reconcile monthly salary sheets for CFO review and approval.
Maintain employee bank, PF, salary and related payroll records.
Prepare full & final settlement calculations for review.
GST Compliance

• Compile monthly GST data and reconcile purchase records with GSTR-2A/2B.




Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations and templates for GST consultants.
Coordinate routine GSTR-1/GSTR-3B and annual GST audit requirements.
Maintain GST refund and other GST-related records and documentation.
TDS, PT & PF Compliance
Calculate TDS and coordinate timely payment and quarterly return data.
Prepare and maintain TDS records and supporting documents.
Prepare/support Skilled Tax and PF payments, returns and challans.
Monitor compliance with due dates and maintain complete statutory records.
Income Tax & Statutory Support
Coordinate with tax/statutory consultants and provide required information and documents.
Prepare supporting data, reconciliations and templates for statutory requirements.
Maintain records of statutory submissions and correspondence.
Audit Support
Prepare schedules, reconciliations and documents for internal and statutory audits.
