We are looking for an experienced Beam Saw Operator who can independently operate the beam saw/panel saw and handle accurate cutting of boards and panels as per production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the Beam Saw / Panel Saw for production cutting.
Cut plywood, MDF, HDHMR and other board materials as per cutting lists.
Understand and follow cutting lists and production drawings.
Verify material type, thickness, dimensions and quantity before cutting.
Set cutting dimensions accurately on the machine.
Ensure accurate and consistent panel sizes.
Minimise material wastage through proper cutting practices.
Identify damaged, warped or defective boards before cutting.
Maintain proper identification and segregation of cut components.
Ensure cut components are labelled and organised for further production.
Coordinate with the CNC, edge-banding and production teams.
Inform the Floor In-Charge about material shortages, cutting issues or machine problems.
Maintain machine cleanliness and basic housekeeping.
Perform basic daily machine checks and report maintenance requirements.
Follow all factory safety procedures.
