220 kV Transmission Line Required Knowledge
Hands-on experience in 220 kV transmission line project execution.
Knowledge of 220 kV tower types, tower erection, and foundation works.
Knowledge of 220 kV conductor, earth wire, and OPGW installation.
Understanding of conductor stringing, sagging, tensioning, and clipping.
Knowledge of 220 kV transmission line route survey and Right of Way (RoW) coordination.
Ability to read and interpret GA drawings, tower drawings, foundation drawings, and line profiles.
Knowledge of electrical clearances and safety requirements for 220 kV lines.
Experience in coordinating with DISCOM/TRANSCO/Power Grid/client and consultants.
Knowledge of inspection, testing, quality requirements, and commissioning activities.
Solid understanding of HSE requirements for high-voltage transmission line works.
Ability to manage contractors, site engineers, manpower, materials, and project schedules.
Experience in resolving site-level technical and execution issues related to 220 kV transmission lines.
