The Medical Coder is responsible for managing individual performance in alignment with organizational and client objectives. The role focuses on achieving production and quality targets while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and continuous learning in coding practices.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Graduation/post-graduation in B.Pharm/M.Pharm/ Pharm D
Basic knowledge of medical coding concepts (ICD, CPT, HCC preferred)
Typing speed of minimum 30WPM
Basic proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
Positive understanding of internet research for medical terminology
Robust knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology
CEFR level A2+
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Fresher or up to 6 months of experience in medical coding
Certification (CRC/CPC) is an added advantage
