About One Ruchi

One Ruchi is a vegetarian food brand focused on everyday South Indian food made fresh, with quality ingredients and no shortcuts. We are looking for a skilled South Indian Chef who can consistently deliver authentic, tasty and hygienic food.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare South Indian breakfast, snacks and meals consistently as per One Ruchi recipes and standards.
Handle items such as Idli, Vada, Dosa, Pongal, Upma, Poori, Sambar, Chutneys, Rice varieties and other South Indian dishes.
Maintain consistency in taste, portion size and presentation.
Prepare batters, masalas, chutneys and other basic preparations.
Ensure food is prepared fresh and ingredients are handled properly.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and work area.
Manage daily preparation and mise en place efficiently.
Minimize food wastage and maintain proper stock usage.
Follow food safety and kitchen SOPs.




Coordinate with other kitchen staff during busy hours.

Requirements
2–5 years of experience as a South Indian Chef/Cook in a restaurant, hotel, cafe or QSR.
Strong knowledge of South Indian vegetarian cuisine.
Valuable understanding of batter preparation, fermentation, sambar, chutneys and traditional South Indian cooking.
Ability to work efficiently during peak hours.
Positive hygiene and kitchen discipline.
Ability to maintain consistent taste and quality.
Experience in a high-volume kitchen is an advantage.
