Preferred candidate profile
Hands-on experience with privacy regulations such as the DPDP Act, GDPR, and ISO 27701.
Robust understanding of the organization's existing systems and end-to-end data flows, which is critical for effective privacy governance.
Ability to coordinate with external auditors and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and stakeholders interaction is key.
Experience in privacy governance, compliance audits, incident management, and regulatory interactions.
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills to engage with senior management, regulators, and business teams.

A qualified with 12 years of experience would be better suited for roles such as Privacy Analyst or DPO Support Officer.

Candidates holding the following certifications may qualify : ( Exp can be discounted with certificates in any of the below )
IT Project Management (e.g., PMP, Prince2)
IT GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)
Cybersecurity (e.g., CISM, CISSP)
Risk Management (e.g., CRISC, CISA)
