About the Role

Anandi School is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant to support young learners in a child-centered learning setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and hands-on experience working with nursery-aged children. We are looking for someone who can actively support teachers in creating engaging, play-based learning experiences that foster curiosity, independence, creativity, and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Early Years Teacher in planning and implementing engaging learning experiences.
Assist in creating a secure, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
Facilitate play-based learning activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development.
Observe and document children's learning, progress, and developmental milestones.
Support classroom routines, transitions,



and daily activities.
Encourage positive behavior, independence, and social interaction among children.
Prepare and organize learning materials and classroom resources.
Assist with indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support each child's individual needs.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and child safeguarding.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree, Diploma, or certification in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience working with nursery-aged children (mandatory).
Experience in at least one of the following educational approaches is highly preferred:
International Baccalaureate (IB)
Montessori
Reggio Emilia
Waldorf
Play-Based Learning Curricul
