Role Overview

We are looking for a
Solar PV Module Expert
with
6–9 years of relevant experience
in
PV module manufacturing, module technology, process engineering, quality or technical operations
.

The candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise on
PV module technologies, manufacturing processes, materials, quality and product performance
, while working closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, R&D;, Procurement and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise in
Solar PV Module manufacturing and technology
.
Understand end-to-end
PV module manufacturing processes
, including cell interconnection, stringing, layup, lamination, framing, junction-box installation and testing.
Work with PV technologies such as
Mono PERC, TOPCon, HJT




and other relevant technologies.
Develop/review
Module BOMs and technical specifications
.
Evaluate module materials such as
solar cells, glass, EVA/POE, backsheets, ribbons, junction boxes, frames and sealants
.
Support
technical evaluation and qualification of suppliers/materials
.
Coordinate with Procurement and vendors for technical specifications, quality requirements and material approvals.
Identify manufacturing defects and conduct
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
and corrective/preventive actions.
Monitor module quality, reliability, yield and performance.
Support
process improvement and yield improvement
initiatives.
Review technical datasheets, test reports, specifications and quality documents.
Work with Production, Quality and Engineering teams during
current product/process development
.
Support qualification of recent materials, suppliers and module technologies.
Troubleshoot issues such as
cell cracks, soldering def
