MSSQL/ PostgreSQL Database Admin || Location: Hyderabad, || Type: Hybrid || Long-term Contract with PF + Insurance (Extendable)

Strong MSSQL fundamentals, including hands-on experience in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and core database concepts. Cloud exposure is desirable, candidates with solid MSSQL expertise and basic to moderate cloud knowledge would be a positive fit for the role.
Extensive experience in MSSQL database administration, including high availability setups such as Always On Availability Groups, failover clustering, and log shipping
Robust focus on database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimisation
Hands-on experience with backup/recovery, disaster recovery planning, patching, and vulnerability remediation
Responsibility for incident management (P1/P2), production support, and system monitoring
Exposure to Azure SQL platforms mainly from a migration and infrastructure management perspective
Emphasis on automation (PowerShell/Python)
