8–15 Years (Minimum 5 years in HVAC Contracting)

Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
HVAC Design certifications will be an added advantage.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior HVAC Design Engineer with extensive experience in the design of Chilled Water Systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Chillers, Ventilation, VRF/VRV, and DX Systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and high-rise building projects. The candidate should have solid technical expertise in HVAC design, equipment selection, and multidisciplinary coordination within an HVAC contracting workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Design HVAC systems including Chilled Water Systems, Water-Cooled & Air-Cooled Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers, Pumping Systems, Ventilation, Smoke Extraction, Staircase Pressurization, VRF/VRV, and DX Systems.
Perform cooling and heating load calculations using HAP, Elite CHVAC, or equivalent software.




Select and size Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Pumps, Cooling Towers, Air Distribution Systems, and HVAC Equipment based on project requirements.
Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting and piping designs, equipment schedules, and technical calculations.
Develop BOQs, technical specifications, tender documents, and equipment comparison statements.
Coordinate HVAC designs with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection teams.
Review shop drawings and provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.
Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISHRAE, NBC, and local authority standards.
Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and value engineering discussions.
Guide and mentor junior design engineers and review design deliverables.

Required Skills
Solid expertise in AHU and Chiller Plant Design, chilled water system design, equipment selection, and HVAC calculations.
