We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with a robust background in machine shop and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on shop-floor experience and robust technical knowledge of machining processes including Lathe, Milling, Grinding, VMC, and CNC Lathe.

The role will be responsible for independently managing day-to-day production operations, ensuring achievement of Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery (SQPD) targets, optimizing manpower and machine utilization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities
Independently manage day-to-day production and shop-floor operations.
Plan and optimize manpower, machines, materials, and other production resources.
Ensure achievement of Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery KPIs.
Ensure production activities are carried out as per engineering drawings, SOPs, work instructions, and defined process standards.
Monitor and review daily and weekly production performance against targets.




Identify production bottlenecks, analyze problems, and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
Drive Kaizen, productivity improvement, and continual improvement initiatives.
Reduce rejection, rework, machine downtime, process losses, and other production inefficiencies.
Monitor machine utilization and ensure optimum use of available production capacity.
Guide, train, motivate, and develop the production team.
Maintain effective shop-floor discipline and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, and other functions to ensure smooth production and timely delivery.
Support implementation and improvement of production processes and systems.
Prepare and review production reports and highlight deviations with appropriate corrective actions.
